Keyon Lab is a pharma biotech start-up company founded in 2026 to develop novel therapeutics for neuropsychiatric disorders acting on specific classes of ion channels.
The team spans a wide range of professional experience, ranging from internationally-recognized and well-established academic team leaders to enthusiastic and highly-motivated early-career investigators.
Entirely based in southern Italy, a highly-fertile and “volcanic” territory, Keyon Lab will dedicate its energies to translate innovative discoveries into therapeutic opportunities for both rare and common diseases.

Our multidisciplinary approach combines computational modeling, medicinal chemistry and functional validation across in silico, in vitro, ex vivo and in vivo models, creating a fully integrated drug discovery platform that enables the identification, optimization and preclinical validation of novel Kv7-targeted compounds. Leveraging proprietary and patented discoveries, we are building a differentiated pipeline of next-generation Kv7 activators designed to overcome the limitations of current treatments by delivering greater efficacy, improved safety and longer-lasting therapeutic benefit.
